In the Artistic Field - 3rd International Artistic and Scientific Conference on Arts and Creativity in Education
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
It is with pleasure that the Organizing Committee of the Arts and Creativity in Education (ACE) Zagreb Conference invites all interested to submit a proposal to the 3rd International Artistic and Scientific Conference on Arts and Creativity in Education, which will be held on the 1st and 2nd of September, 2022 at the Faculty of Teacher Education, Zagreb (Croatia). This conference will offer heterogeneous content from different fields of artistic creation (dance, music, fine and dramatic arts, literature and new media). We tend to gather a wide international community of artists, scientists, professors, teachers, educators, pedagogues, postgraduate doctorate and specialization students and other academic citizens with a goal to exchange and generate new creative ideas, to present scientific and artistic projects, to exchange knowledge about approaches and innovations in the field of arts and education, and to establish ongoing cooperation.
Theme of the ACE 2022 Conference: In the Artistic Field
Conference webpage: https://acezagreb.com
To be or not to be in the field of art? The question could be Shakespearean when we question the possibilities and models of the survival of artistic creation and artistic education in these years of the pandemic. The pandemic has brought many obstacles that has caused some to give up while others have faced these obstacles as challenges to be overcome, bringing forth a multitude of new solutions. Artists, art educators, educators, teachers, professors and researchers have created a range of new models, methods and approaches to all disciplines related to art and art education and it is important that we come together to share our experiences and encourage vital discussions with colleagues. Reflecting on these unprecedented times will introduce us to a new age in which the undeniable importance of art in society is a moment that gives us IN THE ARTISTIC FIELD the opportunity to fly.
The following theme, alongside subtopics and guiding questions, frame the ACE 2022 conference. We welcome presentations in a variety of forms knowing we each seek answers, solutions, and insights to new practices and projects guiding the future of art education. Together, we will advance education, transnational partnerships, and human betterment through art and creativity.
- • Art education during a pandemic
- • Art and digital technology
- • Education through art as holistic development
- • Researching the process of creation
- • Provoking the artistic field
